Wisconsin Discusses: Public Health Accreditation Board – Session 2

In the second session of a three-part series, the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) presented a deep dive on Accountability and Performance Management. PHAB described the purpose scope, and operational definitions for this Foundational Capability and offered case examples of how the Accountability and Performance Management capability practically applies to governmental public health.

PHAB staff, along with staff from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Public Health and University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI), facilitated small group discussion to articulate individual and organizational roles in advancing the selected Foundational Capability.

To continue the conversation, please join the final session April 23, when we will take a closer look at the Policy Development and Support. In session 3, we will work through case examples of how the Foundational Capabilities practically apply to governmental public health, as well as how they apply to you and your organization.
