UWPHI Immersions Presents: An Introduction to Deliberative Inquiry on August 15 from 9:30-12pm CT

This Immersion will provide an introduction to deliberative inquiry, a strategy to promote constructive dialogue, identifying shared values and fostering consensus – building on critical issues. We are collaborating with colleagues at the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS) and UW Extension for this Immersion and look forward to sharing the agenda and speakers with you in the coming weeks.

Participants will learn valuable tools and skills that will engage individuals in structured dialogues that encourage civility, assist in planning of community health improvement plans, community health assessments, deepen understanding of shared health-related values, and contribute to community engagement

All governmental public health staff and allied partners are invited to join the Immersion. The August Immersion content may be of particular interest to individuals who want to increase their skills and abilities to engage in constructive dialogue, identify shared values, and build consensus.
