Colleen Wick is a outreach specialist at County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, involved in all of the program’s communications, marketing, outreach and engagement activities.
Prior to joining County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, she served as a student editor to Miles Harvey’s How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence, an oral history compilation on the effects of gang violence in Chicago, Illinois; as a researcher and social media strategist at The HistoryMakers, the nation’s largest African American oral history video archive; and as a reading and writing coach at several literacy nonprofits in Chicago. Areas of interest include brands, brand strategy, consumer insights research, social media marketing and analytics, folklore, archetypes, oral history, and individual and community agency through storytelling. Colleen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from DePaul University, and a Master of Science degree in strategic brand communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
