Colleen Wick is a communications associate at County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.
Prior to joining County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, she served as a contributing editor to Miles Harvey’s How Long Will I Cry?: Voices of Youth Violence, an oral history compilation on the effects of gang violence in Chicago, Illinois; as a researcher at The HistoryMakers, the nation’s largest African American oral history video archive; and as a reading and writing coach at several literacy nonprofits. Areas of interest include folklore, oral history, and individual and community agency through storytelling. Colleen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from DePaul University, with a focus on rhetoric and analysis.
