
Ashley is a Creative Manager with the UW Population Health Institute’s Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) team and the Web Design & Resource Coordinator for the Wisconsin Commercial Tobacco Prevention and Treatment Program. Exploring new storytelling methods, developing design strategies, and finding ways to connect with audiences have long been her passions. She has a BA in journalism from UW-Madison and brings more than 15 years of experience across several areas of communications and marketing to this role, including writing and editing, graphic design, event planning, web content development and social media management. Prior to joining UWPHI, Ashley served as the Communications and Marketing Manager for the UW School of Veterinary Medicine and created content around animal and human health topics. Outside of work, she can usually be found gardening, hiking, playing board games, or chasing her energetic young children.
