Jennifer Núñez

Jen Núñez is an Assistant Scientist at the UW Population Health Institute and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Society and Community Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her graduate studies, Jen worked on evaluation projects in a variety of areas such as childhood obesity prevention, mental health, and education. In these roles, she provided technical assistance and capacity building in program development and evaluation, strategic planning, and coalition development.

Prior to earning her doctoral degree, Jen worked as a family therapist specializing in substance abuse treatment, parent education, child welfare, and life skills programming for youth with developmental disabilities.
