Suryadewi Nugraheni
Position title: Research & Analytics Scientist
Suryadewi Nugraheni (Heni) works as a research and analytics scientist at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute in the operational area of County Health Rankings & Roadmaps. Heni’s scholarship areas focus on the social determinants of health and health disparities in racially diverse populations and underprivileged communities. Her prior research included:
- Stressors and coping mechanisms of Asian American caregivers.
- Religiosity and spirituality among African Americans.
- Religious support and depression among opioid users.
In addition to her Ph.D. in Social Welfare at the University at Albany-State University of New York, Heni holds a Master’s from the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has a Medical Doctor degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. She also completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Disparities from the University at Albany-State University of New York.
