Ann is the Communications and Project Manager with the Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) Group of the UW Population Health Institute. In this role, she manages the Wisconsin Healthy Communities Designation Program and the Healthiest State convenings, as well as communications and outreach efforts across MATCH’s programs. Prior to joining the Institute, Ann worked in a variety of capacities at UW-Madison that involved partnering directly with communities around Wisconsin on local health improvement efforts. Ann’s background also includes extensive experience in the non-profit sector in Washington DC and Boston, where she managed communications and policy efforts for two national advocacy organizations. With a particular interest and background in women’s health, Ann currently serves on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health and was a founding board member of the Virginia affiliate of NARAL Pro-choice America. Ann has a Master of Social Work and is currently completing her Master of Public Health, both from UW-Madison.
