Lataysha James

Biography

Lataysha received her Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Behavior and Health Education from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Prior to this position, Lataysha worked as a Supervisor for the Indiana COVID-19 Contact Tracing Program.

Lataysha’s professional interests include: the social determinants of health, health equity, health disparities within the African American community and chronic diseases. Lataysha’s personal interests include the following: traveling and swimming(beach or pool),scary movies, bowling, reading ,and spending time with her boyfriend of 4 years, and friends and family
