Erika Hagen is an Adolescent Health Coordinator based at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Maternal and Child Health Team. She manages Wisconsin’s Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) with a focus on using evidence-based comprehensive sexual health education and a positive youth development framework. Prior to this role, Erika has been a Scientist in the Department of Population Health Sciences for over a decade and has experience working as an epidemiologist with several cohort studies, including the Wisconsin Sleep Cohort Study and the Survey of the Health of Wisconsin. She has an MS and a PhD in Population Health Sciences from UW, Madison and completed postdoctoral training focused on health disparities at the UW Center for Women’s Health Research. She has experience with populations across the lifecourse and is especially interested in working with and on behalf of adolescents during this formative life phase.
