In the second session of a three-part series, the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) will dig into a selection of the Foundational Capabilities based on polling results from the first session. We will cover the operational definitions of the selected Foundational Capabilities, and review case examples of how the Foundational Capabilities practically apply to governmental public health. There will be interactive components to work through how the selected Foundational Capabilities apply to you and your organization.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose, scope, and operational definitions of the selected Foundational Capabilities
  • Identify how the selected Foundational Capabilities apply to governmental public health
  • Articulate individual and organizational roles in advancing the selected Foundational Capabilities.

Note: It is recommended that participants attend the full PHAB series to continue building upon foundational knowledge set in the previous session(s); however, participation in session 1 is not required to attend this event.
