Join us in a conversation about the Foundational Public Health Services framework and how it relates to your work.
In the first session of a three-part series, the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) will describe the purpose and scope of the 10 Essential Public Health Services and Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) frameworks, and explain why they are essential for building resilient, equitable public health systems.
PHAB staff along with staff from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Public Health and University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) will illuminate how Wisconsin has embraced the FPHS frameworks and the role they play in strengthening governmental public health.
There will be interactive components to discuss how the various frameworks apply to your work in a local or tribal health department. Sessions 2 and 3 will focus specifically on the Foundational Capabilities (FCs) and provide an opportunity for participants to recognize how the FCs play out in their day-to-day work.
