PHIG Spotlight: Forest County
In this Spotlight, Forest County Health Department will share the process and outcome of creating workplans for each of the Forest County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) Health Focus Areas.
The workplans help guide coalition’s implementing strategies and to keep them invested. This helps circle back to the community health plan and reiterating how it’s a county plan, not just Public Health’s. The department’s PHIG funding also provided the time and skillset to create a CHIP annual report template.
The PHIG Spotlight Series is a platform for Wisconsin public health departments to share their experiences, lessons learned, and barriers encountered while implementing programs or policies. The goal is to foster shared learning, collaboration, and innovation across public health agencies.
