Position title: Community Coach
Karina is a Community Coach with the Mobilizing Action Toward Community Health (MATCH) group. She brings 15 years of experience creating inclusive spaces and places in government, nonprofit, and academic settings to her work advancing racial equity. Prior to joining MATCH, Karina worked as a Community Development Educator for UW-Madison Division of Extension in Ozaukee County. Karina holds a Master’s of Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University and a BA in Geography, Political Science, and Economics from Carthage College. She is collaborative by nature, relationship-focused, and a connector of people and ideas. Karina looks forward to further supporting community-driven, structural change in this role.
