
Eunice is a Data Analyst on the Data & Analytics Team for the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps. Her academic research and interests have been centered upon understanding the multiple factors that influence population health. Her graduate work has provided a rigorous theoretical foundation upon which she understands and approaches complicated social epidemiological problems. She specifically focused on improving the connection between the construct and measurement of social capital in health research and analysis. Other areas of interest include social cohesion, health measures, health justice, social financing, and global governance. Prior to joining CHR&R, she was a research fellow at the Korea Development Institute, where she gained ample research experience with qualitative analyses of Korea’s development strategies and history.
Eunice holds a Doctorate in Development Studies and a Master of Science in Population Health Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also received a Master of International Studies with a focus on Development Cooperation, a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts NGO Studies from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. Eunice newly found joy in running and biking during graduate school and now joins races in different places, and among other races, completed a half-marathon in Duluth, MN, in 2022.
