Raymond Neal is a Community Coach for the Healthy Wisconsin Leadership Institute in the MATCH program. As a native Wisconsinite he takes great pride in the opportunity to support the development of healthy communities in Wisconsin. As an account analyst for a national media company in Manhattan, NY as well as his time in Residence Life and Learning Community Facilitation on the UW-Madison campus Raymond has always sought to cultivate experiences and relationships that place a premium on growth and development. Raymond has been an ambassador of the Wisconsin Idea—always promoting thought and invention for the good of people beyond Wisconsin. Mindful and introspective, honest and charismatic, Raymond has a personality profile that has thrived in higher education. He’s a listener, a thinker, a perpetual learner who isn’t afraid to have difficult conversations. He is passionately devoted toward creating a more just world and firmly believes that in order to so, one must first engage in self-reflection to unlearn internalized messages which perpetuate injustices. He believes the exploration of our relationships with ourselves, others and the systems we all create and maintain is key to the development of opportunities and spaces for individual behavior shifts and organizational transformation.
