Lauren Kelly is a Project Assistant with the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Population Health Institute where she has worked on several statewide research and evaluation projects involving improving mental health for children in schools, health and racial equity, and reducing prescription drug misuse among teenagers. Lauren is part of the Social Media Adolescent Health Research Team (SMAHRT) and is passionate about improving health outcomes in teens and young adults. Her previous work experience includes certification and full-time instruction as a CYT-200 hour Certified Yoga Instructor, Senior Outreach Case Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. From 2014-15, Lauren served 200 hours with AmeriCorps Partnerships for After School Success program, which provides mentorship, literacy tutoring and after school programming to disadvantaged youth. Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently enrolled in the school’s Part-Time Master of Social Work program.
