Amanda Jovaag is an Associate Researcher with the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She holds a Masters degree in population health sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been working for the university since 2003.

Ms. Jovaag is currently working as data lead for the County Health Rankings project.

Prior to her current project, Ms. Jovaag created an evidence-based public health practice website for Wisconsin’s Division of Public Health; assisted with the surveillance and evaluation of Wisconsin’s Tobacco Prevention and Control Program; and served as an epidemiology and evaluation consultant for the Wisconsin Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant, a substance abuse prevention effort funded by SAMSHA.
