Mariah Geiger serves as the Early Adolescent Health Consultant on contract with the Wisconsin Department of Health services, Bureau of Community Health Promotion. She provides management and direction to programs that promote the health and safety of Wisconsin’s early adolescents, specifically middle school youth.
Prior to joining the Population Health Institute, Mariah was a Public Health Associate with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Public Health Associate Program is a competitive, two-year, paid training program. During her time as an associate, Mariah served the adolescent health program of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Mariah holds a Bachelor or Arts in international studies with a concentration in community and global health from Macalester College. She is passionate about elevating youth voice in health programs and working toward health equity.
