Martín is a Research Specialist with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Population Health Institute. He is currently working in the evaluation research group. Martín has research experience in the effects of farm edges on pollinators, the effectiveness of mobile farmer’s markets, and evaluated low-income housing programs in rural Wisconsin. Before joining the UW Population Health Institute, Martín was feasting on tacos and studying geography in Mexico City.
Martín has a background in food/health equity and graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Community & Environmental Sociology, Geography and a certificate in Chicano/Latino studies.
