A Michigan native and Big Ten aficionado, Simone Alhagri graduated with a BA from Michigan State University in 2017 and received her MPH from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2022. Simone has six years of research, writing, design, and data experience. Additionally, she has more than five years of healthcare experience, where she closely engaged in health promotion, prevention, and community health education. Simone’s research interests include maternal and child health, health care disparities, and advancing health equity and social justice. She currently evaluates various programs at PHI but primarily focuses on positive youth development through quantitative and qualitative methods.
