Wisconsin Discusses: Building Trust in Local Public Health

While public health has been a hot topic of national discussion, data shows that many people are unaware of their local health department and the work being done to improve community health. In this Wisconsin Discusses, staff from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI) PHIG Team will share some examples from their work in partnership with local and tribal health departments throughout the state to build awareness and trust in local public health. Attendees will be invited to share examples of where they have had success building trust. Additionally, UWPHI staff will share opportunities for future opportunities for trust building.
