Carrie Carroll Carrie is a Researcher and the Deputy Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) funded Culture of Health Prize program at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. The RWJF Culture of Health Prize recognizes and celebrates communities that have placed a priority on health and are creating powerful partnerships and deep commitments to make change.

Prior to joining the Population Health Institute, Carrie worked on issues related to child development and maltreatment with Casey Family Programs. Carrie has nearly 20 years of experience in philanthropy where she managed foundation investments in national nonprofit organizations and developed resources for health and human services and education organizations in the Seattle, Washington area.

Carrie has served as a Rotary International Fellow and a German Marshall Fund American Marshall Memorial Fellow. She is a founding board member of Youth in Focus, an award-winning organization that surrounds youth with high quality teachers and adult mentors.

Carrie holds a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Affairs, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
