Opioid and other substance abuse issues have been a topic of concern among legislators, public health officials, and the general public. On May 22, 2019, the EBHPP held an open house for legislators, staff, and the general public to learn about research happening at UW Madison to tackle these issues, and to provide feedback to UW Madison researchers on how to focus their work on issues relevant to communities in Wisconsin.
