On August 26th some staff volunteered their time to volunteer in the United Way Days of Caring. They participated
in sorting, packaging, and transporting books for the Rotary “Books for the World” program. “Books
for the World” is a literacy project which puts used books from the United States into the hands of children in
other countries which are lacking in educational resources. Thousands of textbooks, reference books, dictionaries,
novels and other reading materials were packed to be shipped to countries such as South Africa, Pakistan, India,
Honduras and Ecuador. Find out more information at
