Kit Van Stelle, MA
Researcher
Kit R. Van Stelle has been
conducting applied evaluation research since 1985, and was part of the Center
for Health Policy and Program Evaluation from 1989 until its integration into
the Institute in 2004. She has provided technical
assistance and conducted evaluation research with a wide variety of partners
including Native American Indian tribes, the Wisconsin Department of
Corrections, the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services, school
districts, and private health care providers. These projects have included process
evaluations to assist with program
development and improvement, as well as outcome evaluations to investigate the
effectiveness of educational, pregnancy prevention, substance abuse prevention,
and substance abuse treatment programs.
